About CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin

A two-peptide research blend combining CJC-1295 without DAC (Modified GRF 1-29, 5mg) and Ipamorelin (5mg) in a single 10mg lyophilized vial. The blend pairs a growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog with a selective growth-hormone secretagogue, two complementary pathways studied in preclinical research on somatotroph signaling and growth-hormone release.

CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a tetra-substituted analog of GRF(1-29) that engages the GHRH receptor on anterior-pituitary cells, while Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide agonist of the ghrelin / growth-hormone-secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a). The blend combines these two research compounds into a single formulation for laboratory studies of the GHRH and ghrelin-receptor pathways at the cellular level.

Mechanism & Research Background

This blend supplies 10mg total per vial: CJC-1295 without DAC (Modified GRF 1-29, 5mg) and Ipamorelin (5mg). Each component has been independently characterized in research literature across two complementary growth-hormone-axis pathways: the GHRH receptor and the ghrelin / growth-hormone-secretagogue receptor.

CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a 29-amino-acid analog of human GRF(1-29), the shortest fully active fragment of native GHRH. It carries four substitutions, notably D-Ala at position 2, studied in vitro for increased resistance to dipeptidyl-peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) cleavage. In cultured somatotroph models the GHRH receptor (a class-B GPCR) couples to Gs / adenylyl cyclase, raising cAMP and activating PKA / CREB signaling associated with growth-hormone gene expression. Unlike the DAC-conjugated version, the no-DAC form lacks the albumin-binding linker and is studied as a short-acting GRF analog.

Ipamorelin (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH₂) is a pentapeptide of the growth-hormone-secretagogue class that acts in vitro as a selective agonist of GHS-R1a, the receptor for endogenous ghrelin. In characterization work it was described as the first selective secretagogue, stimulating growth-hormone release in pituitary-cell and animal models without significantly elevating ACTH, cortisol, or prolactin above baseline. The blend combines these two research compounds in a single formulation; products supplied by Virtus Peptides are intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research and are not for human or animal use.
